Dedicated to making every performance meaningful,

the Musicsmiths provides the perfect musical ambience

for weddings and other special events.

The Musicsmiths is a flute and guitar duo from Athens, GA. Consisting of Natalie Smith of Grogus and Brian Smith of the Georgia Guitar Quartet, the two perform a wide variety of music. A Musicsmiths concert features jazz, latin, pop and world music alongside classical favorites and original works. The ensemble has performed across Georgia at colleges and schools as well as festivals and private events. Their performances have been met with acclaim due to their musicality, variety and inventive interpretations. The Musicsmiths masterfully incorporates loopers and electronics into their performances, making the group sound like a much larger ensemble without sacrificing the natural flow of the music. With a constantly evolving repertoire and new performance techniques, there is always something interesting to see and hear at a Musicsmiths performance.

“Brian and Natalie’s playing is magical! Their connection to the music and each other creates a truly sacred space.

The Musicsmiths will help you make your wedding a special event to remember!

Brian and Natalie are well versed in the standard classical wedding repertoire but are not afraid to explore other options. They are willing to go outside the box to provide couples with the perfect music for their wedding, cocktail hour and/or reception. They also offer the option to add cello to their duo, bringing an entirely new element to the table. Interested in adding another instrument to the ensemble? We can explore that option as well.
